Mission
The Mission of the Souris and Glenwood Community Development Corporation is to promote and enhance economic development in the Town of Souris and the Rural Municipality of Glenwood.  This shall be carried out under the direction of a Board of Directors using all means at their disposal, including all available financial and management resources, and may include, inter alia, research and other studies, ownership of property, rent of property, joint ownership with other qualified partners, promotional and informational initiatives, etc. as may be deemed necessary to achieve the Mission.

Board of Directors

• The Town of Souris appoints the Mayor and one other Member of Council, plus two members-at-large who are residents and/or ratepayers of the Town to be Directors
• The Rural Municipality of Glenwood appoints the Reeve plus one other Member of Council plus two members-at-large who are residents and/or ratepayers of the Municipality to be Directors
• The Chamber of Commerce appoints two members to be Directors; and
• The Board of Directors may appoint up to five additional members whose qualifications are deemed of value to the effective operation of the Board in carrying out its Mission.
