The Souris River gently meanders its way through town and serves as one of the many favourite recreational points enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Treasured by anglers from across Manitoba, the Souris River offers a bounty of Pickerel and Pike fishing hot-spots. Fishing Licences and bait can be purchased from White Owl Service jct of highways 2 and 250.
Boat Launch
The boat launch is located in Victoria Park and also serves as the launching point for the daily river cruise of the Senator II.*Fishing Season dates are approximate. Please consult Manitoba Fisheries for exact fishing season dates.
