For further information on what items can be recycled contract the Recycling Depot at 483-5216.
All Town of Souris Residents have curb side pick-up on Friday mornings. Please put all recycle materials in a plastic bag and set at your curb. Limit bag weight to approximately 30 lbs, as our pick-up system is manual.

The following items are accepted for recycling:
—Newspaper —Flyers —Telephone Books —Magazines —Catalogues —Boxboard* —Cardboard* —Aluminum cans —Steel/tin cans —Glass jars/bottles —PET plastic (pop bottles) —HDPE plastic (milk jugs) —4, 5, & 7 plastic (polystyrene) —Juice & milk cartons

The Transfer Site/Eco-Centre
is open to residents of Souris and Glenwood.

All Contractors or commercial construction material must be disposed of at Municipal Waste Management Regional Landfill, located 5 miles north on PTH#250 1.5 miles east. (the landfill is restricted to commercial traffic only)
You must report to the attendant upon arrival for complete instructions prior to disposal of any items.
Please be respectful of the rules of the transfer site. The municipalities take great pride in compliance of all environmental rules and regulations and in operating a safe transfer site for their residents.
Recycling is strongly encouraged in our community.

Souris and Glenwood Transfer site is available for use by ratepayers and residents in the communities of Souris and Glenwood only. All others that require waste disposal should contact their local Municipal Corporations.
