| Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross |

Bronze Medallion is the first step towards being a lifeguard. The pre-requisite is that students be at least 13 years of age by the first day of the course. Bronze Cross will be run simultaneously with Bronze Medallion, the pre-requisite for Bronze Cross is that the student must have Bronze Medallion completed by the first day of the course. |

This is the final step to being a lifeguard, this course involves theory which will be conducted in a classroom as well as practical application of lifeguarding skills which will be conducted at the swimming pool. Pre-requisites are that the student be 16 years of age by the date of the exam (August 29), they must also already hold a Bronze Cross award, and they must already hold a Standard First Aid with CPR-C award. |
