Victoria Park is an oasis in the heart of Souris. Our campground, with many sites nestled in the trees and brand new swimming pool, that boasts waterslides, a lazy river and a zero entry beach, are the centre of the Park, but as you branch out, you will discover many exciting attraction and activities within the park, just waiting for you!

There are approx. 6 km of interlocking nature trails in Victoria Park. A pleasant stroll along these walking trails will result in an encounter with the infamous Old Oak Tree. Planted by mother nature in approximately 1497 AD, the Old Oak Tree pre-dates all of recorded history in North America.

Continue following the beautiful walking trails through Victoria Park to iencounter our Look Out Tower, a tall wooden structure, located at the top of the sandhills, that offers visitors an unsurpassed panoramic view of the town, river, lush forests and agricultural lands that surround us.

Our natural amphitheatre, nicknamed "The Bowl", hosts many activities throughout the year. Music in the Park, Canada Day Fireworks and the Multicultural Festival are held in the Park each summer. Entertainment announcements are available in the campground office and are featured in the Events page of the website. The Bowl also lends itself as a fantastic toboganning hill in the winter!

Summer and winter provide endless hours of enjoyment on the Souris river. Boat, water ski, swim, take a canoe ride or fish off the banks. The boat launch is located at the east side of Victoria Park.

Bird watchers, nature lovers and children alike will delight in the Town of Souris Bird Sanctuary. The Bird Sanctuary is the annual host for three seasons of migratory and residents birds (including the peacocks: our town ambassadors) who may visit you during your stay in Souris! Feed the geese or check out the other migratory and resident birds in the Bird Sanctuary located in the Park.

The kids will enjoy a wonderful play at the Elk's playground. The beautiful picnic area is great for day trips and large groups.
