The Plum Museum & Visitor Centre

Celebrate our town’s history & people in this extraordinary 1883 Heritage Church building now a museum and visitor information centre. The Plum is Souris’ oldest remaining public building restored to its original Victorian plum and chocolate colors. This building is one of the oldest church buildings in Western Manitoba; a designated Municipal Heritage Site.  A charming experience awaits you in this tiny building.

Here you will find information about Souris and other Manitoba destinations in our new Visitor Centre housed in the historic building. Pick up a souvenir! Have a little fun with the trivia exhibit, and learn about the Swinging Bridge! Explore images, videos and test your knowledge of its history on an interactive  65″ SMARTBOARD TV.

The Plum offers museum tours, visitor information, Souris souvenirs, and light refreshments. A relaxing outdoor area to enjoy your refreshments available.
