Ensuring our children’s success in life starts with a good education. At Souris School, students can set a solid foundation on which to build a strong and prosperous future.
Our school offers programs from kindergarten through Grade 12, with an average enrollment of 460 students. With smaller class sizes than many urban centres, our school is better equipped to offer individualized attention to ensure student success. This, combined with strategic efforts to improve student success in literacy, numeracy and through differentiated instruction has led to a high rate of graduation and further academic success for our students.
Our school houses a state of the art Media Learning Lab, two Mac Computer Labs, Video Conferencing Centre, an expanded Wood & Construction program, spacious Music Room for our band classes, a superb Gymnasium, as well as integration of leading edge technology in every classroom.
Exploring options for students with varied career interests, we facilitate apprenticeship entry for qualifying high school students in any recognized trade. Additionally, our Career and Technology studies program provides a framework for students to enhance their classroom learning through career internship placement in the community.
Extra-curricular opportunities for students include Arts, Drama, Chorus, as well as a slate of athletics programs in Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Rugby, Track & Field, Football, and Hockey.
